Good grief, is it a wonder they're call pigs?! Bon Apetit! :)

I'm not a big fan of pigs, but those piglets are adorable! :) Congratulations on all your recent babies. Has your cow calved yet? Pretty soon we'll be getting started with calving and then comes the kidding..... Spring is such a wonderful, busy time of the year!

Are you planning on selling any of them Lynn? We wanted to get 2-3 babies this year just to butcher for ourselves as I don't have sows anymore.

As usual, I'm behind in answering comments.

Heather, I think Jim's plans are to raise them for sale as adults. There are people up here that want them as well. The best thing to do is give Jim a call and see what he says.

There may be a bit of a demand for pigs this year ... Our neighbor's sow had 18 this month and lost all of them. They don't know what happened, as last year the same sow successfully raised 14. She is the mother of our sow.

We still have one more sow to go, and hopefully she is pregnant. She may be due in June.
