Lynn,
Good morning, sure glad we have our wood stove :o) This morning at 5:30 am it was -18F and the wind is blowing approx 30-40 mph out of the south west so Mike figures our windchills were at least -45F, maybe -50F. Not fun, not fun at all.
I was up stoking the stove every three hours and still our inside temp dropped to 55F.
We added lots of extra bedding, the cows looked at us like we were nuts, but seemed snug as a bug this morning. Also going through about double the feed and water during this cold snap. Sure hope this wind blows it on out of her by tonight, I'm tired*wink*
PS. how did the bills go?
Blessings, Hugs and stay warm,
Kelle
