We're all a bit glassy eyed this morning. Yesterday we butchered and processed 104 Cornish Cross chickens. Approximately 400 chickens down, approximately 200 more to go. And then we will take care of 35 turkeys closer to Thanksgiving.

What a Way to Start a Morning
Our morning started in a very thick mist ... Andrew went outside to start his chores and discovered our horse, Calliope walking around not too far from the house. That meant the cows were out somewhere as well.
Needless to say, milking was a bit late today.
