Winter's Coming

Looks like our wonderful Indian Summer is ending.

From the Weather Service:

ALBERTA CLIPPER HEADING FOR NORTH DAKOTA.

AN ALBERTA CLIPPER WILL PUSH THROUGH NORTHERN NORTH DAKOTA LATE TONIGHT & TUESDAY. THIS WILL BRING A COMBINATION OF SNOW, GUSTY WINDS & BLOWING SNOW TO NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. SNOW AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL COMBINE WITH GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 40 MPH TO CREATE GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN SNOW & BLOWING SNOW ON TUESDAY. THE SNOW WILL DEVELOP AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT AND THE STRONG WINDS WILL ARRIVE JUST BEFORE SUNRISE.
We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Yep, it's coming here too*sigh* and just when I was enjoying Indian summer. Our high tomorrow is supposed to only be in the mid
30'sF and windy with high chances of early and mid morning snow.

I knew it was coming, but..... was hoping it would hold off a bit longer.

Bundle up and stay warm, we'll just keep the wood cookstove rolling along all day verses just starting a fire in the morning and at night to take off the chill.
Blessings,
Kelle

For whatever reason, I am NOT ready for winter this year.

Kelle,
You'll have to keep us up to date of your weather forecast so we know what to expect! My folks in eastern MN wait to hear from us, then know what to expect a day later as well! Wish we had a cook stove, it's on our list of wants for the future. Our woodstove keeps us toasty warm, though. I sure enjoy your blog!

Marci,
I definitely wasn't ready when we had snow in early October, but now I'm pretty much resigned to winter. We've been blessed with such nice weather until now that I can't not accept it. Just think! A month less of snow and cold!
