New Job for Calliope

Peter thought Calliope should be doing something useful, so he built her a little cart. David was his right hand man in the construction process. The wheels came from old bicycles, and the rest was scrap lumber. So far so good, as long as he is leading her around. She needs to get used to the straps and also understand what Peter wants her to do.

Jonathan caught a ride! This is a close up of what the cart looks like.

I'm constantly amazed at what the boys can come up with. All it takes is a bit of creativity and a lot of junk!

I have been reading your blog almost since you started it. And I so enjoy your pictures and the stories of how you and your family live.

We have 5acres but are not nearly as creative as you are and we also dont live out as far in the country but I can still enjoy a garden (when the Florida weather allows) and enjoy all our Creator has provided.

Thank you for blessing me.

I love this. It's just like boys to come up with not only a job for the horse but the cart, too! How wonderful they have the opportunity to do these things!

Dear Lynn,
Thanks for sharing these pictures of some good old farm boy creativity. Kind of makes you glad for lots of junk, doesn't it? :) I'm sure we'll never run out either!
