The motor was from an old washing machine, and not too long ago he even gave that old motor to us! Unfortunately it doesn't have enough power for our hilly area. A helmet would be a good idea. My brother b...That go cart looks like a lot of fun! My brother built one when we were kids and used a lawn mower engine. We had lots of fun on it. Something you may want to think about is having the boys wear a helmet.
